On May 9 1999
VP-28 former officer pilot who stationed in Itami ,Mr. Alfred Vanleuven and his wife Lynn visited in Itami and remebrance places on their cruise from China to Vancouver.
I was very happy to hear from him about old days in Itami and his memories of staying in 1951.
Ｎeuw Amsterdam arrived at Osaka port. Lynn & Al and I met at the pier of Osaka port.
Ｔｈｅｙ enjoyed "tea-ceremony"at official guest house in Itami city.
At the Awaji-island "Pearl bridge" the most longest suspend bridge in the world where is near Kobe.
